I live in Kent with my husband of 15 years, Brent, our daughter, Paige, and our son, Coulter. I'm an 8th grade English teacher at Shaker Heights Middle School, I coach the Power of the Pen competitive writing team, and I direct the fall play production. I am one of the intrepid few who have never left the area. I attended Kent State, where Brent and I met, and moved here from my parents' house in Munroe Falls when we married in 1994. I'm involved with Kent Coterie, Inc., Kent Junior Mothers, was a chapter advisor for my alma mater chapter of Chi Omega at KSU for 11 years, and becoming active in local politics. I still love theatre, art and music, and my interests have expanded to include golf and hockey.
